This pin-up helped me in a way that I didn’t expect. I was anticipating feedback regarding my design ideas but I got suggestions from my critics about technical, material, and egress strategies. That feedback allowed me to think through aspects I have’t been considering thoroughly. In terms of egress, Stacey White pointed out that my exit cores need to be reoriented to accommodate public discharge requirements. In addition, She told me that I need to change the orientation of elevators to provide clear circulation for occupants. Another feedback from students included different choices of facade and building materials.
